What we collect, and what we do with it
This page explains, in plain English, what NutriLabels collects, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address.
- Recipe data: the ingredients, amounts and product details you enter to build a label.
- Usage analytics: aggregated site usage via Google Analytics 4, to see what pages and features people use.
- Cookies: used to keep you signed in and to remember your cart.
Guest sessions
If you build a label without an account, that work is kept for 7 days so you can come back to it, and then it is removed.
Payments
Payments are processed by WooCommerce and its payment processor. NutriLabels servers never see or store your card number.
Transactional email (receipts, delivery notices, renewal reminders) and an optional newsletter are sent through Resend. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
AI-assisted features
Some features read a document for you: reading a supplier spec sheet, importing a recipe from a file or pasted text, and the written answers in the help assistant on our website. When you use one, the text or image you submit in that moment is sent to a third-party AI processing service to be read and returned. Our provider is bound by contractual terms under which data sent for processing is not used to train its models and is retained only briefly for security and abuse monitoring. You can enter the same information by hand and never use these features. We do not send your saved recipes, labels or account data to any AI service; only what you submit for that one action.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your recipe with anyone except the service providers described in this policy, and only to do what you asked. Recipes submitted for expert service are additionally covered by our standing NDA.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your account and data, email hello@nutrilabels.com.
Hosting & children
- Our servers are located in the United States.
- NutriLabels is not directed at, and may not be used by, children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
