The 2016 FDA rules define specific label formats for different package sizes and product types. NutriLabels generates every FDA Nutrition Facts label format, pixel-accurate to the regulation’s typography specs. Below are real labels produced by our engine.
Standard Vertical
The default for most retail packages with room for a full panel.
Tabular
Rows and columns for packages under 12 in², or any panel too short for a full column.
Linear
A single flowing line, allowed only when even a tabular panel won’t fit.
Dual Column
Per-serving and per-container columns, required when one package holds 200% to 300% of the FDA reference amount.
Simplified
Shortened panel when 8+ nutrients are present in insignificant amounts.
Bilingual (EN/ES)
English and Spanish on one compliant panel.
